FieldMaxII-TO Laser Power Meter FieldmaxII-TO Laser Power Meter (RoHS)
Large, bright, backlit LCD display Digital accuracy with analog-like movement for laser tuning Works with thermopile and optical sensors only USB computer interface with complete host control capability (Windows XP or Windows 2000 required) Analog output with selectable full-scale voltage (1,2, and 5V) Rechargeable battery included RoHS compliant The FieldMaxII-TO laser power meter functions with a broad range of thermopile and optical sensors. Together, these sensors enable FieldMaxII-TO laser power meter to measure UV, visible, and IR laser output from the nanowatt to the kilowatt range, and to work with CW and pulsed lasers.
The updated FieldMax™II-TO (RoHS) laser power meter system features an enhanced PC applications software package that provides live simultaneous monitoring and control of multiple meters from a single host computer. This software provides a quick and easy way to use your PC to monitor live data and statistics, log data to a file, plot the data in trend and histogram charts, and tune lasers with a simulated analog needle.
Host interface commands to remotely control all laser power meter functions are also available via LabView drivers and an ActiveX DLL server component. We have included a "Getting Started VI" and our open source applications software on the CD to help you interface our meter in LabView programming. Support for multiple simultaneous meters is supported by this LabView library.
This laser power meter also contains an analog output and rechargeable battery. This combination of features makes FieldMaxII-TO laser power meter the most powerful and versatile laser power meter in its price range.
This general-purpose laser power meter is designed to accomodate a broad range of users, including developers, production testers, service engineers and general scientific users, as well as laser-based instrumentation builders.
For production test applications, a LabVIEW Instrument driver and ActiveX DLL server component facilitate the development of custom testing routines and simplify integration with other test equipment. Field service applications will benefit from the meter's small size, rechargeable battery pack, and responsive tuning indicator for peaking laser output. For general laboratory use, the FieldMaxII laser power meter offers versatility, accuracy, and easy access to statistics and features, such as wavelength compensation and attenuation correction.
The rechargeable battery pack is recharged through an internal charger in the FieldMaxII unit. This internal charger is powered by the FieldMaxII AC adapter. Whenever the AC adapter is in use, the battery pack is being charged.
FieldMaxII laser power meter incorporates what is known as a "smart charge" circuitry. This circuitry measures the condition of the battery pack and decides if it should be fast charged, top-off charged, or trickle charged. This capability keeps the battery pack from being damaged by overcharging and speeds the process of recharging when the battery is drained.
This laser power meter can also be powered by six standard AA batteries.
