Laser Diode Modules for Spectra Physics Lasers

Cascade Laser now offers 808nm Laser Diode Modules as drop-in replacements for the Spectra Physics 15 watt, 20 watt, and 30 watt fiber pumped diode lasers. These SP laser diode modules are used in various applications including laser pumping, semiconductor manufacturing, soldering, and other laser processing equipment. The 15 watt laser diode modules provide 15 watts of power at the fiber end. Our P/N is LDMSP15W and these are used in Spectra Physics T20 and J20 power supplies. The 15 watt laser diode modules can also be used in pairs in the SP T40 and J40 power supplies, assuming the power supply is configured properly.Some of our customers have requested diodes with higher power output than our standard 15 watt modules, but in the same package. Our 20 watt laser diode modules provide 20 watts of power at the fiber end. Our P/N is LDMSP20W and these can be used in Spectra Physics T20 and J20 power supplies. These 20 watt laser diode modules can also be used in pairs in the SP T40 and J40 power supplies, assuming the power supply is configured properly
The 30 watt laser diode modules provide 30 watts of power at the fiber end. Our P/N is LDMSP30W and these are used in Spectra Physics T40 and J40 power supplies. The 30 watt laser diode modules can also be used in pairs in the SP T80 and J80 power supplies, assuming the power supply is configured properly.
All of the Laser Diode Modules we offer are sold on a Repair/Exchange basis, meaning that we need to receive a defective module from you in exchange for the one we provide. At this point, we do not repair the Spectra Physics power supplies, but we can swap the diodes in the J20 and J40 series supplies and fully test them at our facility. We do not work on the T20 or T40 power supplies. These power supplies are so heavy that you may want to consider having a service engineer visit your facility if you're having technical difficulties. The warranty on our Laser Diode Modules is one year, or 8000 hours, whichever comes first. Our modules are fully compatible with the Spectra Physics power supplies and include the NTC Thermistor, the safety relay, and an interface PC Board with the EEPROM programmed and installed. These high power laser diode modules feature rugged construction and a completely sealed package to insure stability and longevity.
