Clip-In Laser Safety Eyewear for Dental and Surgical Loupes

We've had a lot of inquiries from dental professionals and surgeons who use lasers in their line of work. In many cases, loupes are required during the laser procedure, yet loupes do not offer any protection against harmful laser radiation. Now there is a solution! We now offer Clip-In laser safety eyewear that attaches to most "Through The Lens" (TTL) loupes used in dental and surgical procedures.

The Clip-In attachments come in 3 sizes and can be ordered in any of our LSEP laser filters.

Here is a link to all of the laser filters we offer, which are compatible with these new
Clip-In frames; http://www.cascadelaser.com/plasticfilters.html

Once you have identified the proper filter to suit your needs, you simply chose your framestyle from the drop-down menu on our product page.

The Clip-In frames are available in the following sizes;

  • Frame 18 is approximately 50mm
  • Frame 19 is approximately 55mm
  • Frame 20 is approximately 60mm

These frames will Clip-In or Hook-On to most TTL Loupes. Dentists and Surgeons now have the ability to use their favorite TTL loupes and protect themselves from harmful laser radiation at the same time.

**Please note that some high magnification loupes have telescopes that protrude "through" the lens of the eyewear instead of mounting on the surface of the lens like many of the lower magnification loupes. Our clip-in laser safety eyewear is designed for the type of loupe where the telescopes mount on the front of the lens, because our clip-ins mount directly behind the lens. If you have a high magnification loupe and telescopes extend through the lens of the eyewear, our clip-in filters will probably not work for your application.

Click on the link above to select a filter appropriate for your needs, then select from frames 18, 19, or 20 depending on the size of your lens measured diagonally across the lens.

If you need help in determining the proper filter for your application, please contact us. We'll be happy to assist you.
